The Nevada Air Race Crash Death Rises

The number of people killed Nevada Air Race crash raises. The death victims of Nevada air race crash which occurred on Friday rose to 9 people on Saturday. The previous official statement from police stated that the death victims were three.  According to Reno police, seven died on the landing strip including the pilot while two more diet at the hospital.  People who were injured because of accident were almost 70 people. The police and national transportation safety board will do the total investigation to find out the cause of the accident. 

Nevada Air Race Crash  

The Reno Air Race Assosiation was founded in 1964. the reporters was told by Reno Mayor Bob Cashell that the incident was the first fatal incident that causes visitor injured and killed in four decades.  Cashell explained that they have lost couple of pilots but the previous incidents was never this bad. The tragedy started when a pilot lost control of his old plane and crash into the spectators of Reno air race. Mark Rosekind, a member of National Transportation Safety Board member stated that the investigator are trying to find out the cause of the crash and whether the plane’s elevator trim tab played an important role in the incident.  According to Rosekind, the total investigation may need six up to nine months. 

Death Rises Nevada Air Race Crash

The police want to make a total investigation about the whole incidents including about Jimmy Leeward,  Pilot Nevada air race crash and the opinion that stated whether the high speed air race was held very close to the spectators. To get the evidence related to the incident, police also want to get the evidence from the black box of the plane. According to several witnesses, the pilot is a hero because he made a maneuver in the last minute. The pilot maneuvered the plane away from the crowded spectators at the last moment.
